Discover a Taste of the Highlands

Scottish Hampers is a purveyor of luxury hampers packed full of locally sourced food and beverages from every remote corner of Scotland. Their exquisite selection is carefully chosen to represent the very best in Scottish delicacies, and includes everything from smoked meat and game to chocolate treats and sweets. Only the highest quality produce is selected to be a part of the food range at Scottish Hampers, and the staff liaise with some of the largest and most famous names in traditional Scottish food, as well as some of the most specialist, artisan producers. The years of experience which Scottish Hampers have gained in providing luxury hampers go a long way to being able to identify the very best in Scottish produce. Their selection of pre-designed hampers showcase these products to perfection, with each and every product in the hamper chosen to perfectly complement one another, whilst the option to build-your-own hamper offers the opportunity to hand-pick  favourites and create a bespoke treat.

The Scottish Cheese hamper is a fine example of the way in which the very best in Scottish produce is sourced and perfectly presented. Offering a gourmet tour of the whole country, and including three packs of delicious handmade oats and biscuits with which to enjoy the wonderful cheese selection, this hamper comprehensively showcases the very best cheesemakers in Scotland. The famous Strathdon Blue Cheese is a permanent family favourite, while the lemony fresh taste of Gruth Dhu, which is rolled in oats and peppercorns, is a new taste sensation for avid cheese lovers.

The appropriately named Claymore luxury food hamper (named after the traditional Scottish medieval weapon) also offers a mouthwatering feast of Highland delights. Scotland is famed for its cured fish and game, and the smoked salmon from Inverawe is a highlight of this hamper, as well as that time-honoured favourite, the Dundee cake for dessert. Scottish tablet is another of those Highland delicacies which has been a staple for centuries, while the Mini Galloway Lodge Raspberry Jam offers a unique taste of Perthshire, the county known for bringing famous Scots such as Ewan McGregor, Alan Cumming and Stephen Hendry to the fore of their respective fields.

The antique effect barrel included in the Wee Barra hamper gift set is but a taste of some of the customary and long-standing favourite dishes in Scotland which are included within. An Isle of Kintyre Applesmoke Mature Cheddar is impeccably paired with Cairnsmhor crackers, and the hamper boasts one of the Highlands’ finest beverages in the Speyside 12-year-old Single Malt Whisky.

Organic Food Products On The Up At Scottish Hampers

It’s now possible to make even the most special of occasions greener as Scottish Hampers reconfirm their commitment to sourcing locally produced food and beverages with strong organic credentials. The luxury hampers firm are renewing their commitment to going green by carefully selecting foodstuffs and drinks which are crafted or harvested by companies adhering to organic guidelines with  strong ideals about going green. This focus helps to ensure that the process of making and delivering each luxurious hamper is an environmentally-friendly one with no compromise on taste, quality or value for money.

Russell Jenkins from Scottish Hampers said, “We know that eating organic is very important to many people. Reducing the use of synthetic chemicals in the growth, harvesting and storage of food is said to have many health benefits and can help to protect the environment. Strong green credentials can be the deciding factor for many potential clients or businesses looking to purchase a product or make use of a service so our corporate luxury hampers can even help satisfy Corporate Social Responsibility guidelines while also making a great first impression.”

The Soil Association’s Organic Food Awards honours only the best foods and beverages created using organic harvesting methods. Black Isle’s Organic Red Kite Ale was Highly Commended in the 2009 awards for its satisfying blend of citrus and malt, making it a favourite for many Scottish Hampers customers. Also available from Black Isle is their delicious Yellowhammer, which is golden in colour and delightfully refreshing to boot. Both of these ales are available in the Loch Ness luxury hamper, which features two hampers packed full of indulgent Scottish treats such as haggis, truffles, fudge and a variety of preserves. This hamper is available for £319.99, and the organic ales are available separately to fill a build-your-own hamper for just £3.20 each.

Island Bakery is a company which also prides itself on having a strong commitment to producing organic food. Their delectable organic shortbread is hand-baked using only the best butter for a wonderfully crumbly biscuit, while their chocolate gingers and apple crumbles add something a little different to any hamper. With no artificial flavours and a dedication to using ingredients from environmentally sustainable farms, Island Bakery’s green credentials are there for all to see. Their products are available in a variety of the Scottish Hampers’ gift boxes, including the smaller selections such as the Scottish Treats food hamper.

The Munro luxury food hamper features not only the delicious Island Bakery shortbread, but also a tasty organic Sicilian lemonade, with Madagascan vanilla extract and organic raw cane sugar. This sharp and fresh beverage goes wonderfully with other Mediterranean dishes such as grilled chicken with garlic, salad nicoise and Greek dishes with olives. This lemonade has won countless awards for its refreshing taste, and is available with all build your own hampers for just £3.99.
