Description
Chile like Scotland is a mountainous country with a rich heritage of farming. The difference is it is warm enough in Chile to ripen grapes! We have selected this range, given the title ‘Alba’ which was the Roman name for Scotland after they came North and saw the white tipped mountains. The wines are made by a great wine maker who is regarded as a rising star, already being named Decanter producer of the year. Scotland enjoys modern Chilean wines, and these are great additions to any list, bursting with varietal character.
Santa Luz Sauvignon Blanc has pure fruit and a crisp palate with a notes of herb and lemon curd culminating in a lively finish. It is great by its own or paired with oyster, salads and smoked salmon.
